Original Tomato Curry
Kumamoto is by far the largest producer of tomatoes in Japan, and this original tomato curry is inspired by Kumamoto tomatoes.
Enjoy this delicious curry with the savory flavor of tomatoes and a refreshing acidity in the morning!
Side dishes for rice
There are plenty of side dishes to go with rice, such as fried Aso kana, wakame seaweed stems from Kumamoto Prefecture, and the original rice seasoning "Gohan no Tomo."
Enjoy fresh Momiji eggs, laid by Momiji, a rare breed of pure domestic chickens, with Asahi Brand soy sauce from a soy sauce maker in Kumamoto on rice topped with raw egg!
Mustard lotus root and chikuwa salad
Kumamoto's specialty, mustard lotus root, is a local dish from Kumamoto where, as the name suggests, lotus root is stuffed with mustard.
Chikuwa salad is a staple dish from Kumamoto, made by stuffing a salad such as potato salad into a chikuwa and deep frying it.
Simply fry either in the air fryer and enjoy hot!
Umadashi miso stewed oden
The original oden at Vessel Hotel Kumamoto Airport is miso-stewed oden made with daikon radish, konjac, and deep-fried tofu in a broth that is rich in the flavor of horse tendon.
Although it looks solid, this stewed oden has a light taste and is full of flavor.
Daily miso soup
You can enjoy "Dagojiru," a local dish of Kumamoto filled with seasonal vegetables and dumplings made from wheat flour, and "Nankanage and Aosa Miso Soup," made with Kumamoto Nankanage and Kyushu-grown aosa seaweed, on a daily basis.
This miso soup is perfect for a warm and comforting morning.
Original sweets corner
We offer original sweets that evoke the atmosphere of Kumamoto and Kyushu, such as the Kumamoto local confectionery "Ikinari Dango," the Kyushu-loved snack "Kurobo," and "Karaimo (Sweet Potato) Zenzai," inspired by Kumamoto's thriving sweet potato production.
