Thank you very much for your continued patronage of Vessel Hotels.
We will be revising our terms and conditions as follows, with the effective date being August 1, 2024.
The revised accommodation terms and conditions are as follows.
■ Accommodation Terms and Conditions
Article 1. Scope of Application
1. Accommodation contracts and related contracts concluded with our hotel shall be subject to these terms and conditions, and any matters not provided for in these terms and conditions shall be governed by laws, regulations or generally accepted practices.
2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Hotel may enter into special contracts within the scope of the spirit of these Terms and Conditions and in compliance with laws, regulations and customs.
Article 2 (Application for Accommodation Contract)
1. When applying for an Accommodation Contract with the Hotel, please provide the Hotel with the following particulars:
① Guest name
② Accommodation date and estimated time of arrival
③ Accommodation fee
④ Other matters that the hotel deems necessary
2. When the Hotel requests that a person who has applied for an accommodation contract submit a guest register containing the names, addresses, telephone numbers, etc. of guests, he/she shall submit such register immediately even after the accommodation contract has been concluded.
3. If a Guest requests, during his/her stay, to extend his/her stay beyond the date specified in Paragraph 1, Item 2, the Hotel shall treat it as if he/she had made an application for a new Accommodation Contract at the time such request was made.
Article 3 (Conclusion of Accommodation Contract, etc.)
1. An accommodation contract shall be established when the Hotel accepts the application as stipulated in the preceding article.
2. If the Hotel has displayed an incorrect accommodation rate on its website or provided an incorrect accommodation rate over the telephone and a guest has applied for and accepted an accommodation contract based on that accommodation rate, and that rate is significantly lower than the accommodation rates for the dates before or after that date, the Hotel may cancel the accommodation contract on the grounds that the acceptance was made due to a mistake under the Civil Code, unless there was any indication or notification that the rate was "limited," "special," "campaign," or other reasons why it was lower.
3. The Hotel may call the Guest at the contact information provided to confirm the reservation on any day prior to the scheduled date of stay.
Article 4 (Accommodation Registration)
Guests are required to register the following items at the front desk of the hotel on the day of their stay.
① Guest's name, age, gender, address and occupation
② For foreigners, nationality, passport number, place of entry and date of entry
③ Departure date and time
④ Other matters that the hotel deems necessary
Article 5 (Refusal of Accommodation Requests)
The hotel may refuse to accept accommodation in the following cases.
① When the application for accommodation does not comply with this agreement.
② When there is no room in the guest room due to full occupancy.
③ When it is recognized that the person who intends to stay may act in violation of the provisions of laws and regulations, public order, or good manners and customs.
(4) Persons who intend to stay are designated gangsters and designated gangsters, etc. (hereinafter referred to as "gangsters" and "gangsters") under the "Act on Prevention of Unjust Acts by Boryokudan Members" (enforced on March 1, 1992). ) Or its affiliates, or other antisocial forces.
⑤ When the person who intends to stay is a gangster or a corporation or other organization in which the gangsters control business activities.
⑥ When the person who intends to stay is a corporation and some of its officers are gangsters.
⑦ When the person who intends to stay makes a statement or behavior that causes significant inconvenience to other guests.
8. When the person seeking accommodation is deemed to be in danger of disturbing the peaceful order of the Hotel by using violence, threats, extortion or making intimidating unreasonable demands against the accommodation facility or the accommodation facility staff (employees), demanding an unreasonable burden, or making unreasonable complaints or demands, or when it is deemed to have engaged in similar behavior in the past.
⑨ When the person who intends to stay is clearly recognized as an infectious disease patient.
⑩ When it is not possible to stay overnight due to a natural disaster, facility failure, or other unavoidable reason.
⑪ When the person who intends to stay is a drunk person, etc., which may cause significant inconvenience to other guests, or when it is recognized that it causes inconvenience.
⑫ When a person who has applied for accommodation has made the application without disclosing his/her commercial purpose.
13. When the Hotel determines that it is legally or practically compelled to close due to an order, instruction or recommendation from a public agency.
14. When the Hotel, at the request of a public authority, rents out all or part of a guest room to a patient (or a person suspected of being infected) and there are no rooms available.
15. When the Hotel does not have the physical or manpower resources to implement legally or practically required infection prevention measures pursuant to an order, instruction or recommendation from a public agency in relation to a Guest who has a fever, cough or other symptoms of an infectious disease, or who is reasonably suspected of having the disease.
16. When the Hotel rents out all or part of its guest rooms for public purposes at the request of a public agency and there are no guest rooms available.
Article 6 (Indication of name, etc.)
If the hotel accepts an accommodation application prior to the accommodation date (hereinafter referred to as "accommodation reservation application"), the hotel shall set a deadline and request the applicant for the accommodation reservation to clearly indicate the following matters. I can.
① The name, sex, nationality, address and occupation of the guest.
② Any other particulars deemed necessary by the Hotel.
Article 7 (Room Occupancy Hours)
1. The time during which a guest may occupy a guest room at our hotel shall be up to the time specified by our hotel, unless otherwise specified in the accommodation plan. However, in the case of consecutive stays, the guest room may be used all day, except on the days of arrival and departure.
2. Notwithstanding the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Hotel may permit use of guest rooms outside the hours specified in the same paragraph. In such cases, an additional fee as specified by the Hotel will be charged. Please contact the front desk for details.
Article 8 (Payment of Fees)
Payment shall be made at the front desk at the time of check-in by currency, coupon or credit card accepted by the Hotel. In addition, when a new accommodation contract as stipulated in Article 2, Paragraph 3 is applied for, payment shall be made at the front desk at any time requested by the Hotel.
Article 9 (Cancellation of Accommodation Contract)
1. Our hotel may cancel the accommodation contract and refuse to allow you to continue your stay in the following cases, even if it is during the accepted accommodation period.
① When items ③ to ⑪ and ⑬ to ⑯ of Article 5 apply.
② When facts falling under Article 5(12) are discovered.
③ When the person who has applied for accommodation fails to respond immediately to the request of the Hotel as prescribed in Article 2 Paragraph 2.
④ When there is an act in violation of the accommodation agreement and the Guest fails to correct it despite being requested to do so.
⑤When the Guest fails to comply with any other rules and regulations established by the Hotel.
2. When a guest falls under any of the items in the preceding paragraph and the hotel cancels the accommodation contract in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the guest shall pay a penalty charge for the accommodation services etc. that have not yet been provided. However, this does not apply when the cancellation is not due to the guest's intention or negligence.
Article 10 (Accommodation Responsibilities)
1. The Hotel's liability regarding accommodation begins when the guest registers at the front desk of the Hotel or enters the guest room, whichever occurs first, and ends when the guest vacates the guest room to depart.
2. When the Hotel is unable to provide a guest room to a guest due to reasons attributable to the Hotel, except in cases of natural disasters or other reasons, the Hotel will arrange for the guest to stay in another accommodation with the same or similar conditions.
3. The hotel shall not be liable for any accidents that occur as a result of the guest not complying with the rules and regulations established by the hotel.
Article 11 (Preferred Language)
The official text of this agreement and other rules of use established by the Hotel shall be in Japanese. Translations may be prepared in languages other than Japanese, such as English, but only the official Japanese text shall have contractual effect, and translations in other languages shall have no contractual effect whatsoever.
Article 12 (Observance of Terms of Use)
The Guest shall observe the Use Regulations established by the Hotel which are posted within the premise.
Article 13 (Cancellation of Reservation)
1. When a person who has made a reservation for accommodation cancels the reservation in whole or in part, the Hotel will charge a cancellation fee as set out in the table below.
2. If a guest does not arrive by 22:00 on the day of the stay without contacting the hotel (or by one hour after the expected arrival time if the guest has previously indicated such time), the hotel may consider the accommodation contract to have been cancelled by the guest and process the matter accordingly. In such cases, the hotel will charge a cancellation fee as listed in the table below.

①The percentage is the ratio of the cancellation fee to the contracted price you have reserved.
② If the number of contracted days is shortened, a cancellation fee for one day (the first day) will be charged regardless of the number of days shortened.
③If a contract is terminated for part of a group (15 or more people), cancellation fees will not be charged for the number of Adults staying 10 days prior to the date of accommodation (or the date of acceptance if the application is accepted after that date).
Article 14 (Handling of Deposited Items, etc.)
1. When loss, damage or other damage occurs to goods, cash or valuables deposited by the guest at the front desk, the hotel shall compensate for such damage, except in cases where such damage is due to force majeure. However, for items of which the guest did not notify the type and value in advance, the hotel shall compensate up to a maximum of 150,000 yen, except in cases where loss, damage or other damage occurs due to the hotel's intention or gross negligence.
2. The Hotel shall compensate for damages incurred when loss, breakage or other damage occurs due to the intention or negligence of the Hotel to any goods, cash or valuables brought into the Hotel by the Guest but not deposited at the Front Desk. However, for any items of which the Guest did not notify the Hotel in advance of the type and value, the Hotel shall compensate for such damages up to a maximum of 150,000 yen, except in cases where loss, breakage or other damage occurs due to the intention or gross negligence of the Hotel.
3. Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, the Hotel shall not be liable for the following items (including any data recorded on such items, as described below):
Manuscripts, blueprints, designs, ledgers, data, and other similar items (hereinafter referred to as "Data, etc." Data, etc. includes data recorded on recording media that can be processed by magnetic tapes, magnetic disks, CD-ROMs, optical disks, computers, smartphones, and other information devices) and all media on which such Data, etc. is recorded
Article 15 (Care of Guests' Baggage and Belongings)
1. When a guest's baggage arrives at the hotel prior to his/her stay, the hotel will store it responsibly only if the hotel has agreed to this in advance, and will hand it over to the guest at the front desk when he/she checks in.
2. If a guest's baggage or belongings are found left behind at the Hotel after checking out, the Hotel will await contact and instructions from the owner of the item. If there are no instructions from the owner or the owner is unknown, the Hotel will store the item for 14 days, including the day it was found, and then dispose of it without notifying the guest. Valuable items will be stored for 7 days, including the day it was found, and then delivered to the nearest police station without notifying the guest. However, items that cannot be stored for long periods, such as perishable goods and food, and items that the Hotel deems inappropriate to store, such as magazines, will be stored for 1 day, including the day it was found, and then disposed of without notifying the guest.
3. The Hotel's liability for the custody of the Guest's baggage and belongings in the cases of the two preceding paragraphs shall be in accordance with the provisions of the preceding Article, Paragraph 1 in the case of Paragraph 1, and in accordance with the provisions of the same Article, Paragraph 2 in the case of the preceding Paragraph.
Article 16 (Locker Rental Rules)
1. Even if the Hotel has provided rental lockers within the building, please do not leave cash and valuables in the rental lockers, but rather deposit them at the Front Desk.
2. Please do not put liquids in rental lockers.
3. The hotel shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage to any items incurred while using the rental lockers.
Article 17 (Guest Responsibilities)
1. When the Hotel suffers damage due to the guest's intention or negligence, the guest shall compensate for the damage.
2. In order to receive the accommodation services smoothly based on the Accommodation Contract, if a Guest becomes aware that the accommodation services provided have differed from those contained in the Accommodation Contract, the Guest must notify the Hotel immediately.
Article 18 (Parking Responsibility)
1. When a guest uses the hotel's parking lot, regardless of whether the vehicle key has been deposited with the hotel, the hotel is merely lending the space and the hotel is not responsible for the management of the vehicle. However, if the vehicle has been damaged intentionally or through gross negligence on the part of the hotel, the hotel will compensate for the damage.
2. Please do not store cash or valuables in the vehicle. Please deposit them at the front desk.
Article 19 (Disclaimer)
The Guest shall be liable for any use of computer communication services from within the Hotel. The Hotel will not accept any responsibility for any possible damage that may be caused by a systems failure or any other reasons while the computer communication services are being used. In addition, the Guest may be required to compensate the Hotel and third parties for any possible damage caused by acts that are judged to be inappropriate use of our computer communication system.
Article 20 (Governing Law and Exclusive Jurisdiction)
Any disputes regarding the accommodation contract between our hotel and the guest will be governed by the laws of Japan and will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hiroshima District Court or the Fukuyama Summary Court.
Article 21 (Procedure for Amendment of These Terms and Conditions)
The Hotel may revise these Accommodation Contracts and apply the revised terms and conditions to accommodation contracts with guests. In such cases, the Hotel will make the contents of the revised terms and conditions and the effective date of the changes publicly known by posting them on the Hotel's website at least one month prior to the effective date.
■ Terms of Use
In order to maintain the public nature of the hotel and to ensure a safe and comfortable stay for our guests, we ask that all guests who use our hotel abide by the following rules in accordance with the accommodation agreement. Furthermore, if you do not abide by the rules, we may refuse to allow you to stay in our hotel in accordance with Article 9 of the accommodation agreement.
1. Please refrain from using any fire equipment, such as heating, cooking, pressing, or irons, within the building. This does not include equipment provided by the hotel.
2. Please refrain from smoking anywhere other than designated smoking areas.
3. Please do not offend or cause inconvenience to others by singing loudly, making noise or otherwise behaving in a manner that is not appropriate for your own safety.
4. Please do not use fireworks, incense, candles, or any other items that may cause a fire.
5. The following items are not permitted to be brought into the building:
・Animals (other than guide dogs and assistance dogs) and birds.
- Items that are flammable or easily combustible, such as gunpowder or volatile oils.
-Items that emit a severely foul odor.
・Unlicensed firearms and swords.
- An extremely large amount of items.
- Any other items that may pose a threat to the safety of other customers.
6. Gambling and other acts that disrupt public morals are prohibited within the building.
7. Please do not use the equipment and items in the building for any purpose other than their intended use.
8. Please do not take any items outside the hotel or move them to other locations within the hotel.
9. Please do not attach any foreign objects to the hotel buildings or facilities or modify them in any way that would change their current state. If any damage is caused, you will be charged the actual cost.
10. Please do not hang any items in the windows that may mar the appearance of the hotel.
11. Please do not distribute advertising materials or sell items to other guests within the hotel.
12. Please do not leave shoes or other items lying around in hallways, lobbies, or public spaces.
13. If you wish to change the number of nights you are staying, please contact the front desk in advance.
14. The Hotel shall not be liable for any accidents (breakage or theft) that occur while using the Hotel's contracted parking lot.
15. Please leave your valuables at the front desk. The hotel will not be held responsible for any theft of other items.
16. Payment is by advance payment. Please pay the full amount of your reservation at the front desk when you check in.
17. Visitors will not be allowed inside the rooms. Please meet in the lobby.
18. Please do not use the guest rooms or lobby as offices or sales offices.
19. Please refer to the evacuation route map provided in each guest room.
20. We will not pay for items sold in the hotel, plane, train or bus tickets, taxi fares, postage stamps, baggage shipping, etc.
21. We will not allow minors to stay alone unless specifically permitted by a guardian.
22. Please do not enter any areas within the building other than the business facilities without permission.
