Vessel Hotels has the following accommodation provisions.

Article 1. Scope of Application

1.
Contracts for Accommodation and the related agreements to be entered into between the Guest and the Hotel shall be subject to these Terms and Conditions. And any particulars not provided for herein shall be governed by laws and regulations and generally accepted practices.
2.
Notwithstanding this preceding paragraph, the Hotel shall take precedence this special contract provisions these Terms and Conditions, insofar as such special contract does not violate laws and regulations and generally accepted practices.

Article 2. Breaches of Basic Compliance

1.
The Guest who intends to make an application for an Accommodation contracts with the Hotel shall notify the Hotel of the following particulars.
 (1) Name of the Guest(s);
 (2) Date of accommodation and estimated time of arrival;
 (3) Accommodation Charges
 (4) Other particulars deemed to be necessary by the Hotel
 
2.
When the Hotel requests that a guest submit a guest register containing the names, addresses, telephone numbers, etc. of the guests who have applied for an Accommodation Contract, the guest shall submit such register immediately even after the Accommodation Contract has been concluded.
 
3.
If a Guest requests, during his/her stay, to extend his/her stay beyond the date specified in Paragraph 2 of Paragraph 1, the Hotel shall treat it as if he/she had made an application for a new Accommodation Contract at the time such request was made.
 

Article 3 (Conclusion of Accommodation Contracts, etc.)

1.
An Accommodation Contract will be deemed to have been established when the Hotel accepts the application as stipulated in the preceding Article.
2.
If the Hotel has presented an incorrect accommodation rate on its website or provided an incorrect accommodation rate over the telephone and a Guest has applied for and accepted an Accommodation Contract based on that accommodation rate, and the rate in question is significantly lower than the accommodation rates for the dates before or after that date, the Hotel may cancel the Accommodation Contract on the grounds that the acceptance was made due to a mistake under the Civil Code, unless there was any indication or notification that the rate was significantly lower as a "limited rate," "special," "campaign," or other reason.
3.
The Hotel may call the Guest to confirm the reservation at the contact details provided by the Guest on any day prior to the scheduled date of stay.

Article 4 (Accommodation Registration)

The Guest shall register the following particulars at the front desk of the Hotel on the day of accommodation:
(1) Name, age, sex, address and occupation of the Guest(s);
(2) Except Japanese, nationality, passport number, port and date of Entry in Japan.
(3) Date and estimated time of departure; and
(4) Other particulars deemed necessary by this Hotel.

Article 5 (Refusal of Accommodation Requests)

The Hotel may refuse to provide accommodation in the following cases:
①When an application for accommodation does not comply with these terms and conditions.
②When the hotel is fully booked and there are no rooms available.
③ When the person seeking accommodation is deemed to be in danger of engaging in conduct that will violate the provisions of the law or the public order or good morals in regard to his/her accommodation.
④When the person seeking accommodation is a member of a designated organized crime group or a designated organized crime group member, etc. (hereinafter referred to as "organized crime group" and "organized crime group member") under the "Law for Prevention of Unjust Acts by Organized Crime Group Members" (enforced on March 1, 1992), or a related party, or other anti-social forces.
⑤When the person seeking accommodation is a member of an organized crime group or a corporation or other organization whose business activities are controlled by members of an organized crime group.
⑥ When the person seeking accommodation is a corporate body which has an executive officer who is a member of an organized crime group.
⑦ When a person seeking accommodation behaves in a manner that causes significant inconvenience to other guests.
8. When the person seeking accommodation is deemed to be in danger of disturbing the peaceful order of the Hotel by using violence, threats, extortion or making intimidating unreasonable demands against the accommodation facility or the accommodation facility staff (employees), demanding an unreasonable burden, or making unreasonable complaints or demands, or when it is deemed to have engaged in similar behavior in the past.
9. When the person seeking accommodation can be clearly recognized as carrying an infectious disease.
10) When it is impossible to provide accommodation due to natural disasters, malfunction of facilities, or other unavoidable reasons.
⑪ When a person seeking accommodation is intoxicated or otherwise intoxicated and is likely to cause significant inconvenience to other guests, or is deemed to be causing such inconvenience.
⑫ When a person who has applied for accommodation has made the application without disclosing his/her commercial purpose.
13. When the Hotel determines that it is legally or practically compelled to close due to an order, instruction or recommendation from a public agency.
14. When the Hotel, at the request of a public authority, rents out all or part of a guest room to a patient (or a person suspected of being infected) and there are no rooms available.
15. When the Hotel does not have the physical or manpower resources to implement legally or practically required infection prevention measures pursuant to an order, instruction or recommendation from a public agency in relation to a Guest who has a fever, cough or other symptoms of an infectious disease, or who is reasonably suspected of having the disease.
16. When the Hotel rents out all or part of its guest rooms for public purposes at the request of a public agency and there are no guest rooms available.

Article 6 (Indication of name, etc.)

When the Hotel accepts an application for accommodation (hereinafter referred to as an "Accommodation Reservation") made prior to the date of stay, the Hotel may request the Applicant to clearly state the following items within a specified period:
① The name, sex, nationality, address and occupation of the guest.
② Any other particulars deemed necessary by the Hotel.

Article 7 (Room Occupancy Hours)

1.
The time during which a guest may occupy a guest room at the Hotel shall be up to the time specified by the Hotel, unless otherwise specified in the accommodation plan. However, in the case of consecutive stays, the guest room may be occupy for the entire day, except on the days of arrival and departure.
2.
The Hotel may, notwithstanding the previous paragraph, permit the Guest to occupy the room beyond the time prescribed in the same paragraph. In this case, additional fees defined separately by the Hotel will be required. For more information, please contact to the front desk.

Article 8 (Payment of Fees)

Payment shall be made at the front desk at the time of check-in by currency, coupon or credit card accepted by the Hotel. In addition, when a new accommodation contract as stipulated in Article 2, Paragraph 3 is applied for, payment shall be made at the front desk at any time requested by the Hotel.

Article 9 (Cancellation of Accommodation Contract)

1.
The Hotel may cancel the Accommodation Contract and refuse to allow you to continue staying in the Hotel in any of the following cases, even if it is during the accepted accommodation period.
① When items ③ to ⑪ and ⑬ to ⑯ of Article 5 apply.
② When facts falling under Article 5(12) are discovered.
③When the person who has applied for accommodation fails to respond immediately to the request of the Hotel as prescribed in Article 2 Paragraph 2.
④ When there is an act in violation of the accommodation agreement and the Guest fails to correct it despite being requested to do so.
⑤When the Guest fails to comply with any other rules and regulations established by the Hotel.
2.
When a Guest falls under any of the items in the preceding paragraph and the Hotel cancels the Accommodation Contract in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph, the Guest shall pay a penalty charge for the accommodation services, etc. that have not yet been provided to the Guest. However, this shall not apply when the cancellation is not due to the Guest's intention or negligence.

Article 10 (Accommodation Responsibilities)

1.
The responsibility of the Hotel concerning accommodation shall start from the time the Guest registers at the front desk or when he enters his room, whichever is the earlier, and terminates at the time he leaves his room to depart.
2.
When the Guest can no longer be accommodated due to reasons for which the Hotel is responsible, the Hotel shall arrange to secure accommodation of the same or similar standard facilities elsewhere for the Guest, excepting cases of natural calamities, and other causes making its observance difficult. In such a case, there shall be no charge to the Guest for the accommodation at the Hotel for the day.
3.
The Hotel takes no responsibility to the accident which is occurred by the Guest's taking no notice of Contracts for Accommodation.

Article 11 (Preferred Language)

The official text of this agreement and other rules of use established by the Hotel shall be in Japanese. Translations may be prepared in languages other than Japanese, such as English, but only the official Japanese text shall have contractual effect, and translations in other languages shall have no contractual effect whatsoever.

Article 12 (Observance of Terms of Use)

The Guest shall observe the Use Regulations established by the Hotel which are posted within the premise.

Article 13 (Cancellation of Reservation)

1.
When a person who has made a reservation for accommodation cancels the reservation in whole or in part, the Hotel will charge a cancellation fee as set out in the table below.
2.
If the guest does not arrive by 22:00 on the day of the stay without contacting the hotel (or by one hour after the expected arrival time if the guest has previously stated the time), the hotel may consider the accommodation contract to have been cancelled by the guest and process the matter accordingly. In such cases, the hotel will charge a cancellation fee as listed in the table below.

①The percentage is the ratio of the cancellation fee to the contracted price you have reserved.
② If the number of contracted days is shortened, a cancellation fee for one day (the first day) will be charged regardless of the number of days shortened.
③If a contract is terminated for part of a group (15 or more people), cancellation fees will not be charged for the number of Adults staying 10 days prior to the date of accommodation (or the date of acceptance if the application is accepted after that date).

Article 14 (Handling of Deposited Items, etc.)

1.
When loss, damage or other damage occurs to goods, cash or valuables deposited by the guest at the front desk, the hotel shall compensate for such damage, except in cases where such damage is due to force majeure. However, for items of which the guest did not notify the type and value in advance, the hotel shall compensate up to a maximum of 150,000 yen, except in cases where loss, damage or other damage occurs due to the hotel's intention or gross negligence.
2.
The Hotel shall compensate for damages incurred when loss, damage, etc. occurs due to the intention or negligence of the Hotel to goods, cash or valuables brought into the Hotel by the Guest but not deposited at the Front Desk. However, for items of which the Guest did not notify the type and value in advance, the Hotel shall compensate up to a maximum of 150,000 yen, except in cases where loss, damage, etc. occurs due to the intention or gross negligence of the Hotel.
3.
Notwithstanding the preceding two paragraphs, the Hotel shall not be liable for the following items (including any data recorded on such items, as described below):

Manuscripts, blueprints, designs, ledgers, data, and other similar items (hereinafter referred to as "Data, etc." Data, etc. includes data recorded on recording media that can be processed by magnetic tapes, magnetic disks, CD-ROMs, optical disks, computers, smartphones, and other information devices) and all media on which such Data, etc. is recorded

Article 15 (Care of Guests' Baggage and Belongings)

1.
When the baggage of the Guest is brought into the Hotel before his arrival, the Hotel shall be liable to keep it only in the case when such a request has been accepted by the Hotel. The baggage shall be handed over to the Guest at the front desk at the time of his check-in.
2.
If a guest's baggage or belongings are found left behind at the hotel after checking out, the hotel will await contact and instructions from the owner of the item. If there are no instructions from the owner or the owner cannot be identified, the hotel will store the item for 14 days, including the day it was found, and then dispose of it without notifying the guest. Valuable items will be stored for 7 days, including the day it was found, and then delivered to the nearest police station without notifying the guest. However, items that cannot be stored for long periods, such as perishable goods and food, and items that the hotel deems inappropriate to store, such as magazines, will be stored for 1 day, including the day it was found, and then disposed of without notifying the guest.
3.
The Hotel's liability in regard to the custody of the Guest's baggage and belongings in the case of the preceding two paragraphs shall be assumed in accordance with the provisions of paragraph 1 of the Preceding Article in the case of paragraph 1, and with the provisions of paragraph 2 of the same Article in the case of paragraph 2.

Article 16 (Locker Rental Rules)

1.
Valuables and cash may not be kept in a rental locker but should be deposited at the front desk even if there is a rental locker in the Hotel.
2.
Liquids should not be kept in a rental locker.​ ​
3.
The hotel will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to any items incurred while using the rental lockers.

Article 17 (Guest Responsibilities)

1.
The Guest shall compensate the Hotel for the damage caused through intention or negligence of the Guest.
2.
In order to receive the accommodation services smoothly based on the Accommodation Contract, if a Guest becomes aware that the accommodation services provided have different from those stated in the Accommodation Contract, he/she must notify the Hotel immediately.

Article 18 (Parking Responsibility)

1.
When guests use the hotel's parking lot, regardless of whether the vehicle key has been deposited with the hotel, the hotel is merely lending the space and the hotel is not responsible for the management of the vehicle. However, if the vehicle is damaged intentionally or through gross negligence on the part of the hotel, the hotel will compensate for the damage.
2.
Please do not store cash or valuables in the vehicle. Please deposit them at the front desk.

Article 19 (Disclaimer)

The Guest shall be liable for any use of computer communication services from within the Hotel. The Hotel will not accept any responsibility for any possible damage that may be caused by a systems failure or any other reasons while the computer communication services are being used. In addition, the Guest may be required to compensate the Hotel and third parties for any possible damage caused by acts that are judged to be inappropriate use of our computer communication system.

Article 20 (Governing Law and Exclusive Jurisdiction)

Any disputes regarding the accommodation contract between our hotel and the guest will be governed by the laws of Japan and will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hiroshima District Court or the Fukuyama Summary Court.

Article 21 (Procedure for Amendment of These Terms and Conditions)

The Hotel may revise these Accommodation Contracts and apply the revised terms and conditions to accommodation contracts with guests. In such cases, the Hotel will make the contents of the revised terms and conditions and the effective date of the changes publicly known by posting them on the Hotel's website at least one month prior to the effective date.

Rules and Regulationご利用規則

In order to maintain the public nature of the hotel and to ensure a safe and comfortable stay for our guests, we ask that all guests who use our hotel abide by the following rules in accordance with the accommodation agreement. Furthermore, if you do not abide by the rules, we may refuse to allow you to stay in our hotel in accordance with Article 9 of the accommodation agreement.

1.
Please do not use firearms such as heating, cooking, presses, irons, etc. inside the facility. However, this excludes equipment provided by the hotel.
2.
Please refrain from smoking outside of designated smoking areas.
3.
Please do not harass or cause trouble to others by singing, making noise, or otherwise.
4.
Please do not use fireworks, incense, candles, or other items that may cause a fire.
5.
Please do not bring the following items into the facility.
・Animals (other than guide dogs/assistance dogs), birds
- Items that are easily ignited or flammable, such as gunpowder or volatile oil
・Things that emit a particularly bad odor
・Unauthorized firearms and swords
・Remarkably large quantities of items
・Other items that appear to threaten the safety of other customers
6.
Please do not gamble or engage in any behavior that disturbs public morals within the facility.
7.
Please do not use the equipment and items in the facility for any purpose other than their intended purpose.
8.
Please do not take items from the hotel out of the hotel or move them to other areas within the hotel.
9.
Please do not attach foreign objects to the hotel's buildings or equipment, or do any work that would change the current status. In case of damage, actual cost will be charged.
10.
Please do not hang items on the windows that may detract from the appearance of the hotel.
11.
Please do not distribute advertising materials or sell goods to other guests within the hotel.
12.
Please do not leave shoes or other items lying around in hallways, lobbies, or public spaces.
13.
If you wish to change the length of your stay, please contact the front desk staff in advance.
14.
The hotel is not responsible for any accidents (damage or theft) while using the hotel's contracted parking lot.
15.
Please leave your valuables at the front desk. The hotel is not responsible for any other theft.
16.
Payment is in advance. Please pay the full amount for your reservation at the front desk upon check-in.
17.
We do not allow outside guests to enter the room. Please meet in the lobby.
18.
Please do not use guest rooms or the lobby as an office or business office.
19.
Please refer to the evacuation route map provided in each guest room.
20.
We do not accept advance payment for items sold at the hotel, ticket fees for airplanes, trains, buses, etc., taxi fees, postage stamp fees, luggage shipping fees, etc.
21.
We do not allow minors to stay overnight unless they have specific permission from their guardian.
22.
Please do not enter any areas of the building other than business facilities without permission.
